Certified Vibe Hacker
Master agentic AI workflows for red team, blue team, and purple team operations. Learn to leverage AI to reduce cognitive overhead, accelerate analysis, and deliver higher-quality security results.
About the Workshop
Whether you're breaking systems, defending them, or doing both, most security professionals don't need more tools—they need more time, focus, and leverage.
This hands-on workshop explores how agentic AI can support day-to-day red team, blue team, and purple team work by reducing cognitive overhead and accelerating analysis. You'll learn vibe hacking: a practical approach to steering AI behavior toward useful outcomes like hypothesis generation, synthesis, and prioritization.
Through practical exercises using a reference interactive AI toolset, you'll experiment with workflows that help you deliver higher-quality results under real-world constraints—without automating humans out of the loop.
Workshop Topics
AI Concepts & Foundations
- Understanding LLMs and how they work
- How LLMs fit into AI/ML overall
- Types of models and usage patterns (agentic, etc.)
- Prompting concepts and best practices
- Safeguards and AI security considerations
Hands-On Tool Setup
- Hacker Sidekick WebUI - Configure accounts, API keys, and workspace settings
- Hacker Sidekick Integrated Hacking Environment (IHE) - Desktop app with editor-integrated AI workflows; installers for Ubuntu/Debian, macOS, and Windows. Other operating systems may require an alternative tool—contact organizers if unsure.
Practical Scenarios
- Log Analysis - Use WebUI to analyze security logs and identify patterns
- Vulnerability Prioritization - Apply AI workflows to assess and rank security findings
- Static Code Analysis - Leverage the Hacker Sidekick IHE for iterative code security review
- Web Application Pentest - Design agentic workflows for penetration testing tasks
Setup Steps
Before the workshop begins, please complete the following setup steps to ensure you're ready for hands-on exercises:
- Install the IHE — Go to hackersidekick.com/ihe, download, and install the Hacker Sidekick Integrated Hacking Environment (IHE). Official installers are provided for Ubuntu/Debian, macOS, and Windows. If you use another OS, you may need an alternative tool—reach out before the workshop if you need help.
- Create your account — Open hackersidekick.com and sign up.
- Apply the workshop promo code — Redeem the code for three free months of Pro (promo code provided with workshop registration or materials). In the Hacker Sidekick app or web UI, use Settings → Subscription (or the billing/promo field shown there) to enter it.
- Get an API key — In your Hacker Sidekick account, open Settings → Account → API Keys and create a key if you do not already have one. Store it securely.
- Connect IHE — Open the IHE and enter your API key in the app’s connection settings. Use the default API URL (do not change the base URL unless instructed).
Workshop Exercises
Download the exercise files below and follow along with the hands-on scenarios. Submit your findings and flags at the CTF platform.
Exercise 1: Log Analysis
Use the Hacker Sidekick WebUI to analyze security logs and identify patterns, anomalies, and potential security incidents.
Exercise 2: Vulnerability Prioritization
Apply AI workflows to assess and rank security findings from a vulnerability dataset. Learn to prioritize remediation efforts effectively.
Exercise 3: Static Code Analysis
Leverage the Hacker Sidekick IHE for iterative code security review. Analyze the provided codebase for security vulnerabilities using AI-assisted workflows.
Exercise 4: Web Application Pentest
Design agentic workflows for penetration testing tasks. This exercise is conducted directly against https://certifiedvibehacker.com itself.
No download required—explore the application and identify vulnerabilities using AI-assisted analysis techniques.
Submit Your Findings
Once you've completed the exercises and identified flags or findings, submit them at the CTF platform:

This hands-on workshop explores how agentic AI can support day-to-day red team, blue team, and purple team work by reducing cognitive overhead and accelerating common security workflows. Participants learn vibe hacking: a practical approach to steering AI behavior toward useful outcomes such as identification, prioritization, analysis, testing, exploitation planning, and remediation support.
Through guided, scenario-based exercises using a reference interactive AI toolset, attendees experiment with workflows that help them deliver higher-quality results under real-world constraints. The emphasis is on amplification rather than automation—using AI to extend human capability while keeping judgment, decision-making, and responsibility firmly in human hands.
Prerequisites:
- A laptop with a modern operating system (macOS, Linux, or Windows)
- Ability to connect to the venue Wi-Fi
- Familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts (e.g., logs, vulnerabilities, alerts, or offensive/defensive workflows)
