About the Workshop

Whether you're breaking systems, defending them, or doing both, most security professionals don't need more tools—they need more time, focus, and leverage.

This hands-on workshop explores how agentic AI can support day-to-day red team, blue team, and purple team work by reducing cognitive overhead and accelerating analysis. You'll learn vibe hacking: a practical approach to steering AI behavior toward useful outcomes like hypothesis generation, synthesis, and prioritization.

Through practical exercises using a reference interactive AI toolset, you'll experiment with workflows that help you deliver higher-quality results under real-world constraints—without automating humans out of the loop.

• Understanding LLMs and how they work

Hands-On Tool Setup

• Hacker Sidekick WebUI - Configure accounts, API keys, and workspace settings
• Roo Code - Install VS Code plugin and configure editor-integrated AI workflows

Practical Scenarios

• Log Analysis - Use WebUI to analyze security logs and identify patterns
• Vulnerability Prioritization - Apply AI workflows to assess and rank security findings
• Static Code Analysis - Leverage Roo Code for iterative code security review
• Web Application Pentest - Design agentic workflows for penetration testing tasks

Setup Steps

Before the workshop begins, please complete the following setup steps to ensure you're ready for hands-on exercises:

1. Navigate to hackersidekick.com and create a new account
2. In chat.hackersidekick.com under Settings → Subscription, enter the promo code at the top (provided during workshop registration)
3. Navigate to Settings → Account → API Keys and create a new key if necessary. Leave this open or save the key somewhere secure
4. Navigate to code.visualstudio.com/download and download/install VS Code
5. Once VS Code is installed, open the extensions bar and download the Roo Code extension
6. In Roo Code, navigate to Settings → Providers → New configuration profile with the following parameters:
   • API Provider: OpenAI Compatible
   • Base URL: https://chat.hackersidekick.com/api
   • API Key: Paste the key you generated in step 3 here
   • Model: hacker-sidekick
   • Enable Streaming: checked
   • Advanced Settings → Use Custom Temperature: checked → MUST BE EXACTLY "1"
7. Save & Done
